At ELS GATETS DE NALEC, we believe that love comes with no label, pedigree, or certificate. That’s why we encourage anyone who wants to share their life with a cat to prioritize adoption, whether it’s a kitten from our colonies or from a shelter or rescue.

We also understand that some private individuals, due to personal circumstances, look for a home for their animals. In these cases, we recommend being well informed and making sure it’s not a clandestine breeder or hidden mass鈥慴reeding practice. A good private caregiver has nothing to hide: they are transparent, responsible, and seek the best for the cat.

Adopting means giving a real opportunity to an animal who needs it, while buying online or in shops often fuels unnecessary practices that do not place animal welfare at the center.

When you adopt, you don’t just change a cat’s life: you also help reduce abandonment, stop irresponsible breeding, and give value to the life that already exists and is waiting for a home.

Love is unconditional. And no label can buy that.

  4. We assess whether it is a good match.
  5. We sign a responsible adoption contract.
