Police Files: Our Village Kittens
Welcome to our most special gallery. Here you will find archive photographs of the real cats we care for in Nalec: silent neighbours, mischief experts, and masters of purring.
We want you to get to know them in a fun and friendly way and, who knows, maybe you’ll feel inspired to lend a hand or even adopt one of these little survivors.
Every image tells a story: that of a real kitten, with its own personality, its gaze, and its desire to receive a bit of affection. This is our collection of friendly “police files”, created so you can discover the beauty and unique spirit of each one of them.
All the photos belong to real village cats and are part of our commitment to their well-being and protection.
Pallasete
One of the most affectionate males in the colony. He’s one of those cats who, on the day you don’t see him, makes your heart tighten: he doesn’t usually stray far from the friendly houses and always wanders around the same corners looking for a stroke or a glance of complicity. When he shows up, with that calm and trustworthy air, it’s impossible not to smile.
Panter
She is a pregnant, first-time mother: soon we will have a new litter in the colony. Her head is completely black, while the rest of her coat is tricolour, giving her a look as peculiar as it is irresistible. She belongs to the same lineage as Ombra, Pallasete and Copita.
Ele
Daughter of Negreta/Ajina and sister of Zeta, Mapachito and Tigretón.
She is pregnant with her second litter and is almost always seen with her mother. She is affectionate and loving with people. She is another cat who has stolen our hearts.
Luna
She is the sister of Rollito and Vaquita. Not long ago she showed up with several wounds on both sides, and some scars have remained on her face. We don’t know what might have happened to her, but every day she recovers a little more. She is brave, resilient, and despite everything, she keeps that sweet look that makes her unmistakable.
Packet
Another one of the kittens that has appeared mysteriously in Nalec. We like to think he comes from some uncontrolled litter that we haven’t been able to locate. What we do know is that, day after day, he trusts us a little more. Little by little, this small stranger has been becoming part of the village’s feline family.
Rollito
Brother of Luna and Vaquita. He’s usually the greediest of the group and, when it’s feeding time, he attacks with “blades” as if it were a western duel. Even so, he spends most of the day at the door, acting as the colony’s official guardian. A kitten with a big appetite, lots of character, and a sense of duty that never fails.
Tupína
She is a female of unknown origin. A sudden appearance a few months ago. We suspect she belongs to some ghost litter that we still haven’t managed to identify. Despite the mystery, Tupé has decided to join the gang… and we’re delighted to add her to our X-files.
Ombra
Last litter of Vaca Madre. We still haven’t been able to verify her sex. Her siblings are Pallasete, Panter and Copita. She is the smallest of the group, but already shows promise: curious, discreet, and always stuck to the other three as if they were a single feline bundle.
Borrosin
We should scold the photographer of this image a little, but we won’t go to such extremes on this website. Borrosín is another one of our X-files: he appeared in the colony not long ago, and we still don’t really know where he came from. What we do know is that, mysterious or not, we love that he has decided to stay with us.
Guineu
Another little cat whose arrival in these parts we don’t really know how to explain, but we assume that, like so many others, he comes from some uncontrolled litter.
Even so, we are deeply glad that he has ended up becoming part of our colony.
Now he is already one more member of the family, and we are delighted to have him here..
Vaquita
She has been living with us for a couple of years. A descendant of VacaMadre (now deceased), she has continued her legacy by becoming a young mother twice. Her kittens are Panter, Ombra, Pallasete, Copita and Nieve, and her siblings are Luna and Rollito. She is a calm, observant cat with a touch of feline wisdom that makes her respected by the entire colony.
Copita
Is an extremely affectionate and very sociable cat. She always seeks the company of people and knows how to make herself loved with small displays of affection. When the weather is bad, she often slips in like a squatter, looking for shelter and warmth. Sister of Pallasete, Ombra and Panter, Copita is one of the reasons why our work makes sense: her tenderness and her ability to touch everyone who meets her make helping worthwhile.
Tigretón
Is a shy little cat but with a big heart. Son of Negreta (known as Ajina) and brother of Ele, Zeta and Mapachito, he lived as a squatter for three months. With patience and food he allows himself to be approached and accepts petting. We are looking for a calm home that respects his pace.
Sauron
Is a very interactive cat who seeks interaction with people, especially when he is hungry: he comes close, eats, and shows his gratitude with cuddles or purring. We believe he comes from a BlackMami litter —his gaze reminds us of his mother’s— and that makes him even more special to us. He is ideal for someone looking for a companion who responds to care and patience.
Flopy
Today he appeared alongside Borrosín, as if he were his personal guide. We had never seen him before, but he has too much trust and too much tenderness in his paws to be a street cat. He’s not like those who were born in the colony and already know us: he came straight in, seeking the warmth of a friendly hand, as if he knew perfectly well where to find shelter.
Welcome to the colony, Flopy. Here you will always have a safe corner and people who will take care of you.
Negreta – Àlies: Ajina
This little bandit has a story. She is an outlaw who, when you’re not paying attention, sneaks in as a squatter with her kittens and stays for long periods.
Ele, Zeta, Mapachito and Tigretón
The best part is that, between incursions, she alternates her visits to the neighbors with subtle purrs that disarm anyone. If you see her near your house, don’t trust it: she’s capable of turning any corner into her territory.

Remembering Our Feline Stars
n this space we remember the cats who have been part of our colony and who, in one way or another, have left an indelible mark on our hearts. They are no longer with us, but they remain part of the history of Els Gatets de Nalec. We honor them with affection, gratitude, and the certainty that we gave them everything we could.
