At ELS GATETS DE NALEC, we work so that no cat in our town has to survive alone.
Behind every whisker there is a story: some were born on the street, others were abandoned, and others simply appeared as if Nalec had called them.
Our mission: to care for, protect, and give a voice to the town’s whiskers.
All of them, absolutely all of them, deserve a dignified, safe life filled with peaceful moments.
That is why we promote awareness campaigns, encourage responsible adoption, and advocate for sterilization: loving animals also means ensuring their future.
And we do it with the strength of a community that, despite the obstacles, continues to believe that kindness is a form of resistance.
🐾 What we do every day (and every night).
We are a non-profit association made up of people who love animals and want respectful coexistence between neighbors and felines.
Our work includes:

Feeding the cats regularly

Identifying and registering each member of the colony

Providing temporary foster care when a cat needs help

Offering basic care, deworming, and veterinary attention
All of this is possible thanks to people who, like you, want a kinder and more responsible town.
No matter how much we give our all, it is not enough. Resources are limited, and the whiskers that arrive keep increasing. There are cats who are still waiting for food, shelter, or a chance… and without your support, we cannot reach them all.

If you want to give us a helping hand, there are many ways to do it.
What we need the most is:

Materials for building shelters also help us a lot: PVC, pallets, wood, cardboard… anything that allows us to create safe and protected spaces.
